Videos From Lemoine Point, Kingston ON
I enjoy walking at Lemoine Point, a conservation area in Kingston, Ontario. It is a wonderful place to relax and interact with nature. Every day is a new experience! Check out some of my videos below.
Barred Owls
This was taken in January 2021. A barred owl flew between my friend and I to meet up with another owl on the other side of the path. The two owls flying together in the sky was a magical sight.
Rose Breasted Grosbeak
This was taken in May 2021. In my opinion, these are the most beautiful birds in the park. It takes a bit of patience, but they will sit in your hand to eat. Once there, they aren't in a rush to leave!
Blue Jay
This was taken in October 2021. At the end of the summer the Blue Jays get pretty bold. This took only a few seconds to set up and shoot and was the first time I had a Blue Jay in my hand this summer!
Assorted Wildlife
I have a favourite bench at Lemoine Point and one day I was shooting video while sitting on the bench for just 15 minutes. I made a video of just some of the footage. It is amazing how many things I saw in that short time in one location! I felt like Snow White!
Piliated Woodpeckers
This was taken on a rainy Sunday morning in the summer of 2020. Amazing sight!
Charlie Chipmunk
There are thousands of squirrels and chipmunks at Lemoine but Charlie is special! Charlie comes running to greet us and jumps into our hands to eat peanuts -- time and time again! This was taken in summer 2021.
White Chipmunk
There are at least 2 of these little chipmunks at the park -- a very unique sight!
Deer
Slow Motion Nuthatch
Downy Woodpecker
Squirrel Family
In the summer of 2020 I would see this family of baby squirrels playing in the same tree every day.
Another Slow Motion Blue Jay
This was taken in October 2021. I am always amazed that these beautiful birds will come to my hand!
